Pro-Tec Fire Services offers their employees a comprehensive Dental plan administrated by Delta Dental of Wisconsin. The dental plan allows you to utilize a Delta PPO or Delta Premier Provider or any out-of-network provider.
Delta Dental benefits outline the coverage for various dental procedures, including preventive care like cleanings and x-rays (usually fully covered), basic restorative care like fillings, and major restorative services like crowns and root canals (with varying copay percentages), often with a designated annual maximum benefit amount, meaning there is a limit to how much the insurance will pay per year; most plans also require you to choose a dentist within their network to receive the best coverage and cost savings.
Pro-Tec Fire Services provides Vision Insurance through Delta Vision. Delta’s coverage for exams, contact lenses and glasses, as well as discounts for services like laser vision correction, helps you and your family take care of your eyesight for less.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered to Eligible employees and their legal dependents. It is a confidential short term counseling program that is provided at no cost. The purpose of an EAP is to assist you with personal, family, or work-related problems that impact your wellbeing.
Pro-Tec Fire Services provides a flat benefit of $50,000 per employee at no charge to the employee. There is also Voluntary Life and AD&D that can be purchased in $10,000 increments up to $150,000.
A full flexible spending account (FSA) reimburses you for healthcare expenses you incur that are not covered by insurance. This plan is not compatible with making health savings account (HSA) contributions in the same year.
Paid time off (PTO) is a benefit that allows employees to take time off from work while still getting paid. PTO can be used for a variety of reasons, including: vacations, sick days, personal days, family emergencies, sudden necessities, and illnesses.
A retirement savings plan is a financial account that allows individuals to save a portion of their income on a tax-advantaged basis to build funds for use during their retirement years through employer-sponsored plans like a 401(k), where contributions can be made pre-tax or post-tax depending on the plan type, with the goal of growing the money over time through investments to provide income in retirement.
A UnitedHealthcare benefit includes access to a large network of doctors and hospitals nationwide, covering a wide range of medical services like preventive care, physician visits, lab tests, emergency care, prescription drugs, mental health services, and more, with varying levels of coverage depending on the specific plan chosen, often including features like virtual visits and wellness programs; users can access their benefits through the “myUHC” platform and member ID card.
