Chief Bryan House, who has been our Chief in Saskatoon since we started internationally in 2004, recently announced his retirement effective at the end of 2021. We are pleased to announce that Chief Sylvain Theriault, (pictured left), who has been our fire chief at Calgary since we started in 2019, will be making the move to Saskatoon to assume the reigns there. In addition to running the operations in Saskatoon, Chief Theriault has also agreed to assume the responsibility of Regional Fire Chief for Canada. These additional responsibilities will not only include oversight for both Canadian operations, but also for future business development and strategic planning to help position Pro-Tec for positive growth in Canada for years to come.
Chief Theriault has been an integral part of our Canadian operations for several years and has done an outstanding job managing Calgary. His leadership, knowledge, and experience will only help us in meeting our strategic goals in the future.
Please join me in congratulating Chief Theriault on his appointment, and thanking Chief House for his many years of service and support. Chief House has agreed to stay with us as we transition the leadership and successfully return our Saskatoon operations to Category 6 as requested by the airport.
Stay safe!
