Air Force One visits TUL

Fire Chief Mark Stuckey

The Tulsa International Airport Fire Department worked extensively over the course of a week in preparation for the United States Presidential visit in Tulsa on June 1st, 2021. The fire department, in conjunction with the airport emergency management coordinated logistics, supported hazardous materials operations, and ARFF services for the President and Air Force One.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Tulsa ARFF personnel to directly support the Presidential staff and agencies. Although the visit was short, many hours were spent during planning, preparation, and implementation phases, to ensure a successful mission.
